Transformer Theme Park Opens in China

Move over Gundam, there's a new giant robot in town. Zhu Kefeng was so inspired as a boy by Transformers that he and a team of artists created the Mr. Iron Robot theme park in Jiaxing City, China. More than 600 giant sculptures were made out of recycled car and motorcycle parts. The project took over 10 years to complete and here's hoping it will be endorsed by Hasbro.

There's no chance at all of hasbro endorsing it. For one, it's already been done without permission and we all know how big companies just love such things now a days. Also, if they were to ever do so, the bots are probably not accurate (copies) enough to be given a green light by hasbro. What we have here, ultimately, is another intellectual property theft by the chinese, just like they did by making their own disneyland style theme park without paying a dime to disney (not that I like disney. In fact .. I don't at all but regardless of my personal opinions, it's still IP theft). They hide behind their governmental curtain and so reap the rewards of other's efforts.
